Which courses do we offer to Beauty Therapists?

At Cosmetic Courses we have the following medical grade skin rejuvenation courses available to Beauty Therapists who have completed an NVQ level 3 or equivalent:

  • Neostrata Chemical Skin Peel training
  • Microneedling/Dermaroller training
  • Microdermabrasion training

Neostrata Chemical Skin Peel Training

Chemical skin peels currently sit as one of the most popular advanced skin rejuvenation treatments on the market. The Neostrata range of skin peels are scientifically designed to resurface, restore and refine skin helping to treat fine lines, improve skin clarity, treat superficial scarring and help improve the appearance of acne, melasma and rosacea. This broad scope, plus the fact that it is still an affordable treatment for your clients, means it appeals to all ages. So there’s great potential for attracting new clients and introducing the treatment to your existing clients – creating a healthy new revenue stream.

Genuine Dermaroller Therapy Training

As a Beauty Therapist, Dermaroller is the most advanced and most profitable skin treatment you can offer your clients. The procedure works by running a small roller with lots of medical-grade needles over the surface of the skin. This abrasion stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely over a period of 4-6 weeks. This can produce significant results for stretch marks, chicken pox scarring, acne scarring, sun damage, uneven skin tone as well as fine lines. It’s a unique treatment in that no artificial products are being placed directly into the skin offering an excellent safety profile.

Microdermabrasion Training

Microdermabrasion is a mechanical method of exfoliating the skin. It works by using a superior vacuum and a specially designed hand piece to exfoliate the layers of the Stratum Corneum using Aluminium Oxide crystals. The combination of skin exfoliation and vacuum stimulates the fibroblasts to produce new and healthy cells in the basal layer of the epidermis.

Each course is provided at our dedicated clinical training centre in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. Alternatively, we can provide in-house training at your salon.

Our qualified aesthetic teachers will take you through the techniques at a pace you feel comfortable with, combining theory with plenty of hands-on practice to leave you feeling confident to perform the treatments by the end of the course.

You’ll be given lots of support along the way and encouraged to ask any questions you have throughout the session. You’ll also get plenty of advice regarding integrating these advanced techniques into your current practice.

On successful completion of our training courses you will be immediately certified allowing you to obtain your insurance to begin practicing these treatments on your clients.
